Thanks so much to everyone who came out tonight for sushi. It was awesome getting so many of you together at one time to just hang out and chill. Hopefully those of you who had not met some of the other folks who were there tonight got a chance to meet some new folks and make some new acquaintances. This should definitely be a regular occurrence, even if it's just getting together and chilling at my house for pizza or some other such less expensive food. Those of you who couldn't make it, you definitely need to come to the next group get together. If for nothing else, the look of shock on the waiter's face as he tried to figure out how he was going to handle that many people on his own was totally worth it. I snapped a few photos with the camera phone, so I'll throw those on the site tomorrow most likely.

OK, off to bed now...sushi coma is setting in and I must obey it.

Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages. Come one, come all to the first ever "Noah drags a bunch of folks together for sushi" extravaganza!

I need to get a final head count so I can call Daihachi for reservations tonight. I plan on calling at 8, so I need to know who's definitely coming. As near as I can tell (please let me know if I'm wrong) the following folks are coming:

Tom, Jocelyn (I get the feeling I misspelled both of your names), Brian, Valarie, Blake, Pam, Patrick ([info]daemonkain), Patrick ([info]silent_muse), Morgan, Shannon, Wayne, Rena, April, Nick, Chad, Christen, Justin, Kali, Barbara, Heather, Stephen, Laura, and Koryn

The following folks are listed as maybe currently (but should say yes 'cause they love me and want to have sushi with me):

JDavyd, Alicia, Jim, Jaide

So as it stands right now, there's a potential 20 folks heading out to dinner. Now as is usually the case with dinner engagements with me, a few folks will simply bail, and a few unexpected folks will show up. I will most likely make the reservation for 20 folks at 7:30 unless way more folks pop up and say they want to come too. Which would of course rock...the more the merrier.

EDIT: I'm crossing out names as I hear back from folks

Alrighty folks, last week I posted about heading out for a group sushi endeavor. I've carefully compiled everyone's schedules and it looks like the night that works for just about everyone is a Tuesday evening. Now since I'm still only working on my third cup of coffee, my info could be completely off, so let me know. I was thinking we'd meet for 7:30 at Daihachi in Albemarle Square. I went in earlier this week to scout out and I think that's going to be a better bet both for a large crowd, and the non-raw fish eaters of the group. Their sushi has improved considerably since the last time I was there, so I think everyone will be happy.

So reply here or email me and let me know if you're in for a sushi dinner at 7:30 PM on the 19th at Daihachi. I'll call the day before and make reservations, so I need to know by next Monday.

Hope to see you all there!

OK...so the mail server at work goes down more often the a two dollar hooker at a shriner's convention. So let's try an LJ post instead. Would anyone be up for a sushi outing some time soon? I've been craving some sushi as of late (and sake). This week and the beginning of next are pretty busy for me, but maybe late next week or the week of the 18th? What night are you all free, and how many of you are up for chowing down on raw fish with me?
