I got my costume contact lenses in the mail today to go along with the vampire theme I'm going for this year. I of course had to try on the contact lenses just to see how they work and all. My friends who wear contacts every day now officially get mad props...I have no idea how the hell you guys do it. I suspect you get used to it, but it's still a pretty weird feeling having something up against your eye like that. I decided rather then doing my own mold for the latex facial prostehetic, a good quality movie-grade prosthetic would do just as well for me. For $40, you really can't beat it. Plus it has been so many years since I've done one, that I really don't want to hassle with it. I picked up the liquid latex for the edge-smoothing, and a good costume make-up kit. Now I'm just missing the mask and the teeth and we're all set. I don't want to ruin the surprise by posting pictures/links. You guys will just have to catch up with me on Halloween and check it out. Hopefully it should look awesome. I'll be wearing it to work for the costume contest, which hopefully I'll stand a good chance of winning. Tags: halloween Current Mood: energetic
